peach upgrade

peach upgrade

Update both independently versioned parts of peach. The command installs the latest engine runtime, or the repo’s configured runtimeVersion, then checks the standalone CLI release channel and downloads a newer verified executable when available. It prints the previous and installed runtime versions, the CLI version result, and the engine release notes in the terminal. When either changed and the background daemon is running, the upgraded CLI restarts it, so no manual restart is needed. The background daemon checks for a new default runtime on startup and hourly; successful interactive human CLI runs refresh the cached CLI release version without blocking the command.

terminal
peach upgrade [--channel <name>] [--to <cli version>]
