Conformance

expo-hinge

real upstream package — not intercepted. the JS (isAvailable, getHinge, addHingeListener, useHinge) runs from the bundle against the ExpoHinge native module (native-seams/expo-hinge.ts, ported from the 58.0.1 Swift and Kotlin observers). iOS reports the iPhone Duo fold bus as UIHingeInteraction does (angle in degrees, closed, partiallyOpen or fullyOpen) on iOS 27.1 and later; every other iOS device has no hinge. Android has no device spec with a hinge angle sensor, so isAvailable follows API level 30 and getHinge stays null

API coverage
No visual conformance cases have been published for this package yet. The registry summary below describes what the compat layer implements.
Working
isAvailable from the spec OS version (iOS 27.1, Android API 30); getHinge answering synchronously from the cached fold state; hingeChange sent to observed listeners on every angle or status change and with null when the spec loses its hinge; useHinge first render already holding the current value
Missing
Android hinge angle sensor and Jetpack WindowManager FoldingFeature states (no foldable Android device spec exists); iOS status unknown
